This is the lip syncing activity that we made as a group to prepare us for the final piece and to familiarize ourselves with the editing process. We used a wide range of static shots including long shots, mid shots, close ups and high angle shots. We also experimented with tracking shots but when it came to the final cut we only included one of these.
Editing only took a few lessons, we originally started with over 40 minutes of footage which we shortened to just 1:55. We shared out the responsibility of editing so that we all had some experience with the software. As a group we cut the footage to make the edited piece. There was a lot of discussion on what pieces we should include and we decided it would liven up the piece to include random footage that took place between shots.
